I have just spent a few days with Lorenzo Gasperini, and have had my hands on the new pocket wizard ttl. I am hoping to see the UK frequency model in March which I can then keep my hands on. A new flatter enclosure is the first thing you notice and two types, a nice small transmitter, and a larger, still flat, transceiver. The transceiver also has the option to run a cable to trigger the camera as well as the flash. This system simply works by fitting it between the camera hot shoe and the flash. I hope to try these in the field in March, and I personally am keen to try out the system to fire flashes at 8 frmaes a second. Although this involves sitting a few speedlites together to enable them the chance to recycle, the idea is that the pocket wizard will fire them in sequence to achieve high speed shooting with flash. I will update this in March when I get my hands on them for good !
