Archive – Lynx in the Arctic, emap
I keep being asked what certain images were shot for and where. From time to time I will revisit old shoots as the images are timeless they deserve to keep being seen.
These particular images were shot on a trip to the Arctic I did with Emap for an advitorial for Lynx. I can assure you, that when you peel off all those insulating layers a can of Lynx is a good thing.
We were based in a Teepees along a frozen lake. A few hundred meters along the shore the Ice Hotel was under construction. The people from the Ice hotel had built our temporary stage and bar from blocks of ice. The evening saw The Thrills, Rob de Bank, Shaznay, and Faithless play to a select crowd.
