The return of Khan, Mens Fitness
The return of Khan was shot for Mens Fitness mag in his gym in Bolton. An hour with Amir was a great experience, such an easy athlete to work with, so much so we were done before the hour so I spent ten minutes in the ring with him just sparring at my camera. Each shot except one, was with mm of the lens but the speed was mind blowing with that accuracy.
We shot all of this on the EOS 1ds mk3, canon speedlites on pocket wizard tt5′s with Westcott apollo softboxes. Still trying to get my hands on the behind the scenes video.
Pete Webb sports photographer shot Amir Khan at this gym in Bolton. Camera were the Canon eos 1 ds mk3 and the Canon eos 5d mk2. Canon speedlites with Westcott Apollo soft boxes. Hoodman memory cards recorded the files at great speed and a Vanguard Alta pro 283ct tripod gave us great versatility from a tripod that is fast and has a multi angle central column.
