Aperture3
Pete Webb Photographer writes. Yesterday apple released the third version of Aperture. Aperture3 on the surface to me looked like a waste of an upgrade for a professional that just needs to get work shot, approved and delivered. A true digital light meter, Sekonic – L758DR
If you are a digital photographer and binned your lightmeter, when you realised you could get an accurate exposure data from your camera, far more than was available from your light meter that you used with your film cameras. That relationship you had between film, light meter and camera, which you understood perfectly but still [...]

Aperture on Two Machines
This is where I start to put basic useful articles on Aperture to help any of those people I talk to, to understand how to use Aperture a little more quickly. Aperture UPNet
EOS1d Mk3 Servo tracking and high speed shooting stuttering.
I upgraded my firmware from 1.1.3 to 1.2.3 at the end of last week, and immediately noticed a performance drop in my continuous shooting. I shoot small 10fps sets of images(45 ish) for various online projects that require the camera to shoot non stop at full speed to allow me to cut together a small 2 second [...]
